Hey there! I’m Tiara Yap, an English and Mandarin speaking actor, voiceover artist, writer and creator born and raised in Singapore.

My recent credits include playing Cynicism / Xiao Ting / Irene in Secondary: The Musical by Checkpoint Theatre, which won Production of the Year at the ST Life Theatre Awards 2025, taking on the titular role in Wild Rice’s original staging of Red Riding Hood, and starring in AsiaOne’s first narrative web series Shag Sia. Other notable credits include Prudentia in Por Por’s Big Fat Surprise Wedding by Singapore Repertory Theatre (which also ran at Adelaide’s OzAsia Festival in 2024), as well as being a cast member in the 2023 and 2025 iterations of the long-running sketch show Fat Kids Are Harder to Kidnap by How Drama.

If you’re from Southeast Asia, you might know me as a former writer and cast member at SGAG, one of the region’s leading digital content platforms under Hepmil Media Group, where I spent a good 5 years being a video content strategist.
